The Great Northern Radio Show is an independent production of 91.7 KAXE, Northern Community Radio. It is written, hosted and produced by Minnesota author Aaron J. Brown. The program is broadcast live on 917 KAXE-Grand Rapids and 90.5 KBXE Bemidji and rebroadcast on other independent public radio stations. It’s a live radio variety show featuring music, comedy, unusual conversations and the distinct flavor of northern Minnesota culture. It’s a new take on an old format, designed for a broad audience and distribution in different media.
